Waddell Homes specialise in building high quality homes using the Panelok construction system. Panelok is a modular system with homes built in 8-12 weeks whilst achieving a high quality well designed finish at the same time. Waddell Homes needed a brand that would represent the quality builds that they produce but also one that tells the story of why they are different from other builders. To achieve this custom letters were created to form the word WADDELL using a modular block system replicating the nature of the Panelok system. The letter forms of WADDELL form a striking and modern word mark for the type form logo. The W was then stripped down to create a contemporary W Logomark Icon clearly reflecting the nature of the Panelok system and how it goes together. The W is a clearly recognisable and impactful icon for the business going forward. The brand is completed using a black and white palette and modern layout helping to lift the overall class that Waddell Homes offer.
